ANSI Accreditation Program for Greenhouse Gas Validation/Verification Bodies
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) offers an accreditation program for organizations providing third-party validation/verification services for the reduction and removal of greenhouse gases (GHG).
The ANSI Accreditation Program for Greenhouse Gas Validation/Verification Bodies operates according to requirements defined in ISO 14065:2013, Greenhouse gases - Requirements for greenhouse gas validation and verification bodies for use in accreditation or other forms of recognition.

- ISO 14064-2:2006 Greenhouse gases - Part 2: Specification with guidance at the project level for quantification, monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emission reductions or removal enhancements
- The Greenhouse Gas Protocol Corporate Standard: Provides the accounting framework for organizations preparing a GHG emissions inventory. The GHG Protocol is program neutral and is designed to be compatible with most existing GHG program requirements.
